Mexico, December 2022

Just after Christmas 2022 we took off for Mexico, starting in San Miguel de Allende and then on to Mexico City. San Miguel is a beautiful, quaint city with amazing art and food that feels like you're in Spain rather than Mexico, and Mexico City is about as far from "quaint" as you get - the city is absolutely massive and bustling with energy - but the food was somehow even better. Some highlights: churros and the chef's table at Aperi in San Miguel, tacos (Orinoco!), breakfast at Fonda Margarita, and bathtub champagne in CDMX.
